Message from our CEO

Our company is founded on the principle of never becoming too large so as not to be able to focus full attention on any one client, no matter how ‘small’ a client may be. We bring honesty, integrity, and dedication to each client we connect with. Every client receives direct and constant attention from the stakeholders of our company, all the way to the CEO. Keeping the patient engaged is always the most important factor in patient satisfaction. This requires open communication between the patient, the provider, and the clinic staff. Despite the best-laid plans, if the patient is not in the loop on what is being done, it is all for naught.

Jagdish Patel, MD, FACG

Founder, CEO
Board Certified Gastroenterologist, in private practice for over 30 years. After graduating from medical school in India, he immigrated to the US in 1979, completing his residency training at Mount Sinai Services in New York, and then a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Vanderbilt University Nashville, TN. In addition to being a champion for patient care at his clinical practice, he has served in various capacities on the administrative side of healthcare, from assembling and managing a multi-physician gastroenterology clinic to Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Bylaws Committee at a reputable mid-sized hospital in Phoenix, AZ. An avid proponent of integrating technology in clinical practice throughout his career led to the humble beginnings of Doctoc almost a decade ago. His other interests include gardening, hiking, and being surrounded by the wonders of nature.

Jordan Sloan

Principal Software Engineer
Jordan Sloan is the Principal Software Engineer at Doctoc, and joined the company near its inception. With a BSE in Computer Systems Engineering from Arizona State University, Jordan has over a decade of experience in the healthcare technology sector. An exceptionally gifted software engineer and an astute problem solver with deep knowledge of the inner workings of the healthcare industry. His passion lies in creating innovative systems that enhance efficiency and bring new solutions to healthcare workflows for both patients and professionals. In his free time, Jordan enjoys playing guitar and bass, writing and recording music, and experimenting with home automation and gadgets.

Joel Manalo

Customer Representative, Virtual Assistant Services
With an engineering degree, transitioning into the medical industry offers a unique blend of skills and technical knowledge that can directly impact patient care and healthcare innovations. My engineering background provides a strong foundation and essential skills for the highly regulated and constantly evolving world of healthcare technology. Working in the medical field requires a thorough understanding of compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements, areas where my engineering training is invaluable. I am a man of few words but carry a strong presence through my actions. Known for my calm demeanor and ease of getting along with others, I am family-oriented at heart, prioritizing the well- being of my loved ones while maintaining a disciplined approach to work. Hardworking, efficient, dedicated, and committed, I take pride in delivering consistent results.

Dean Imperial

Virtual Assistant Manager
I’m Dean Imperial, Virtual Assistant Manager at Doctoc. I have close to a decade of extensive experience in US healthcare, handling various accounts such as Durable Medical Equipment and US medical insurance. I also worked as a Medical Biller in a doctor’s office. Additionally, I have solid experience working with the management team as a Trainer, Team Leader, and Manager. Outside of the office, you will find me playing football with my kids, enjoying weekend bike rides, and walking my dog.

Sara Gregg

Manager, Customer Relations
Sara is a dedicated and family-oriented professional with a deep passion for helping others. She finds joy in spending quality time with her loved ones and has a love for hiking, exploring life, and playing games. With a career spanning 15 years in the medical field, Sara has consistently demonstrated her commitment to making a positive impact. Her lifelong dedication to volunteer work, which began in her youth, continues to be a significant part of her life. Sara’s goal is to contribute positively to the lives of others in any way she can. Managing customer relations at Doctoc comes natural to Sara!
